This is a very organic site. New items and information are added daily. Be sure to use all the tools available to make the most of your time! A few tips to make the most of your visit:
- The search box on this main page is an AND search, enclosing multiple search terms in quotes is unnecessary. It's always best to search AND use the pre-set browses when searching for specific individuals, cities, or oganizations. Search will go through all the text, whether or not it has been completely catalogued yet.
- Some of our participating institutions have created interpretive exhibits. Please be sure to visit them on the Exhibits page.
- For copyright and reproduction rights, please contact the participating institution listed under "Participant" for the items in question. The best way to do this is to choose the institution on the Contact Us page.
- If you are interested in having your institution join Digital Past, check the Participant FAQ and then drop us a line! We'd be happy to talk to you about the possibilities.
- Questions or comments can be sent via the Contact Us form; just select "General Information ."
